Friday DT Showcase

Hello hello CCM friends!
Are you ready for halloween?  Have you decide what are you or your kiddo going to dress up as?
Check out the adorable Jordy from the Costume 2 set and his party animal friends!

Melissa

Here is a little spook directly from Chi Chi Memories new October Release.  I really enjoy whimsical Halloween so these little costumed cuties are a blast to work with.  I wanted to be sure that my little tiger stood out so I cut a white base for behind him and I used pop dots to attach it to the image I cut out.  Then I used more pop dots on the back of the base that I adhered to the card.  Boo-Yah!

Marcee

Check out this adorable card using the new Costume 2 set.

Kim

"I am using this adorable party image from the Party Time set. I colored the image with Copic markers. I then embossed the green cardstock then added a bow and some pink brads."

Friday DT Showcase

Hello CCM fiends and happy Friday!

Hope you are ready for a crafting weekend?
Here are a few adorable cards for some inspirations!

Karen

"What little guy hasn't been fascinated with robots at some point in their life?  This new stamp from the Costume Set 2 is perfect for so many occasions - like this birthday card.  With all those great details, Jordy is perfect on a clean and simple design!  After all, he looks like he is ready to put on a show all by himself, doesn't he?!"

Melissa

"Little Mr. Roboto!  Isn't he super cute?  I knew I needed to dig out some robot papers and found both Cosmo Cricket and Imaginisce in my stash that would coordinate perfectly with this stamp.  This stamp is available from Chi Chi Memories in the Costume Set 2 stamp collectionthe new release for October."

Kim

"This is Candace from the Halloween Costume 2 set. I colored Candace using Copic markers then fussy cut the image. I die cut 2 scallop squares from Spellbinder's Nestabilities set. I then added some dew drop and finished with a button and hemp."

Marcee

Check out this adorable card using Candace!  Super super sweet!

Friday DT Showcase

Hello CCM friends and happy Friday to you!

Are you in love with the new Costume set 2?  We sure are.  :)
Here are a few more super fun projects.

Kim

"Candace is ready for Halloween in her adorable Halloween costume. I used a scallop border die and punched holes in the top of each scallop. I then added stitching and rounded the corners on the white and brown cardstocks. The banner is freehand and topped with brads."

Marcee

"I am in love with the October release! It is SO adorable. I used mostly soft colors on my card with some deep brown and added some yellow ribbon to match Jordy's costume. "

Melissa

"I decided to think a little out of the Halloween box with my inspiration and thought how fun it would be for young children to have their own little bookmark.  What a great way to keep reading exciting, just mark your page with Jordy, the lion boy. Tomorrow at bedtime he'll be waiting with your story book."

Karen

"I have two little gals at home that absolutely LOVE to dress up - as fairies, as princesses, as ponies and even as chickens!  So this new set from ChiChi Memories is just perfect!  There are so many cute images in this set, and while they are perfect for Halloween, they can also work for so many occasions - like this little appreciation card I made with Robot Girl Candace."

Friday DT Showcase

Hello CCM friends and happy Friday to you!
Any plans for you this weekend?
Hanging out with the family, running errands or laundry?
How about some crafting time?  Here are some super adorable projects to get you started!

Karen

"What's better than a cute stamp from ChiChi Memories?  A cute stamp from ChiChi Memories with a cupcake!  This month, Candace is all dressed up for a tea party, complete with a tea cup facinator, and she is holding one of my favourite treats!  I just love her cute pigtails and detailed dress - this stamp is so much fun to colour!"

Marcee

"Fall is finally upon us here in the states, but that doesn't mean you can't use spring-y colors. This adorable image just said pretty colors to me, so I used lots of yellow with a bit of pink. I kept the bard base neutral and added a few pearls to keep it soft.  I have loved using the Party Time set SO much!"

Melissa

"I have a little bird house birthday tag to share today.  Watching the birds out the window this morning got me inspired and Chi Chi Memories had the perfect bird in the set Tea Party  to work with.  It will be a cute little addition to a birthday gift bag."

Kim

"I am using Candace from the Friendship set. She is all decked out in Fall colors. I added grass using a technique called "Pointillism"in various shades of green Copic markers. I embossed the brown cardstock using a large dot embossing folder. I then punched a decorative border on the orange cardstock. After all the elements were assembled I used organdy ribbon for the bow and added a flower and pearl in the center."

Friday DT Showcase.

Hello hello CCM friends and happy Friday!
Do you have any plans this weekend?  How about some crafting time?
Here are a few creations from our amazing DT members...

Melissa

"This week my inspiration for you is chocolate inspired.  I always make my stamped cakes colorful, I've never done a chocolate before (on paper).  I liked this big wide ribbon and decided to incorporate into my card. I wanted the cake detail to stand out so I kept the card simple. I have never met a chocolate cake I haven't liked!"

Kim

"My card today is on the CAS side. I wanted to showcase the apple tree from the Spring is Here set. I embossed the white cardstock using the Swiss Dots folder. I freehand cut the green cardstock to resemble grass then using 3-D foam tape I adhered the tree to the white embossed cardstock and placed the grass on top."

Marcee

"I just love this little group of animals and it's awesome that you can customize the little banner. I decided to try something a little fun this week and do a step card. I kept my card simple by using paper with mostly same colors and adding a few embellishments."

Friday DT Showcase.

Hello CCM friends and happy Friday.
Welcome to another super fun showcase featuring our new September release, the Tea Party set!
Without further adieu, here they are...

Karen

"One of my favourite stamps from the new "Party Time" new release is Jordy.  Not only is he such a cutie, but the stamp is really versatile.  Use him for an invitation to tea, for coffee date, for a thank-you or even to remind a loved one to take a moment to take care of themselves!  All dressed up, Jordy is sure to make anyone smile!"

Melissa

"I new this little man needed a tea cup card to show off his serving abilities.  Remember guys like tea too, at least we know this fellow does and he wants you to join him in a cup.  I wanted to make this card more masculine so I kept my colors gray and blues, but I did manage to add a touch of pink."

Kim

"I made a birthday card using the Party Time set. The cake was colored in using Copic markers and cut out with an oval doily die. The edges of the doily was distressed with green ink. I cut out 2 triangles and embossed the white cardstock with a happy birthday embossing folder then pieced them together. I added the border shape on top to hide the seam line. Last I used seam binding to tie a double bow and added a brad in the center."

Marcee

"What a fun cake! I love all the detail and adore that it can be used for any occasion."

Well, what do you think?  Hope you like them and have a great crafting weekend!

Friday DT Showcase

Hello everyone and happy Friday to you!
Do you have any plans this weekend?  Up for some crafting?
Better yet, how about have a tea party and join the CCM gang?  Hehe!

Melissa

"This little group of party animals just makes me giggle.  I loved them from the minute I saw them in the new September Release at Chi Chi Memories.  I wanted to keep it the card simple with all the activity taking place with the animals. I did use tiny letter stickers to spell out HAPPY in their banner flags.  Colored with Copic Markers."

Kim

"I love the new Sept. set called It's Party Time. They are perfect for those special occasions. I am using Candace for this birthday card. I stayed with various shades of pink and red for her outfit. I die cut some flourish and flowers for the embellishment. I embossed the flowers to add texture and added a rhinestone brad for the center of each flower. I also embossed the red cardstock with a heart embossing folder. The banner is freehand then I used 3-D foam tape to pop up the image and sentiment."

Karen

"This week, I decided to play with the adorable animals in this month's new release.  These cuties definitely looked like they were ready for a party, so I decided to use the banner as the perfect spot for the sentiment.  You could use a different word or a name to customize the image for the recipient.  What a great stamp for all sorts of celebrations!"

Marcee

"Isn't this new release adorable!? It was really hard for me to choose which image I wanted to use for my first card. I kept my card CAS as usual, but decided to try something different and acutally punch into my card and layer paper on the inside.I colored the image with Prisma Pencils in Fall/Winter type colors and then used 2 different patterned Christmas papers from MME. I thought this image would make a nice dinner invite and depending on the colors you chose-it could really be for any time of year."

"This Friendship set is SO adorable and great to send to someone that needs a pick me up.
My image is colored with ProMarkers and as usual my card has been kept CAS. Some craft cardstock and a couple of strips of paper help to keep the image the main focus of my card. This set is a must have in my opinion!"

Melissa

"I have a birthday boy this week so it's only fitting that I create his card.  I think the Chi Chi Memories Birthday Boy stamp set is sweet! This set is loaded with great stamps to use together or individually.  I kept my card simple and used my son's favorite colors.  I wanted to use that cute rocket and added it as a little tag.  Colored with Copic Markers."

Kim

"Although Spring is over, I love the Spring Is Here set. It is so versatile and can be used for various occasions. I colored the bird in using Copic markers and matted the image onto blue cardstock. The white fiber is tied into a bow and placed on to the plaid patterned paper. I added the border punch and some yellow dew drops to pull it all together."

Need some inspirations?!  How about some super cute cards from the CCM DT?

"I love the sentiments and images that goes along with the Friendship set. The image was colored in using Copics. I added stitching along the edges of the patterned paper and accented the card with a flower and green sprigs. I colored the sprigs with white paint then I added some green alcohol ink to the paint to get the desired shade of green I was wanting then painted the sprigs again. The image is popped up using 3-D foam tape."

Check out this adorable tag using this cutie from the For You!

"Although I'm excited for Fall, I'm loving these Summer-y colors. However, I LOVE yellow any time of year. I colored my image with Prisma Pencils this week and used some of the new SU! In Colors for that Summer-y feel. I added a yellow bow made with 1/2" seam binding ribbon and popped up my sentiment to give the card more dimension."

"Today, I decided to play with "Wipe Your Tears".  I coloured these gals up with my Copics, and then teamed them up with some paper from DCWV's Fiesta Forever stack.  This set has some great sentiments, but I decided just to use "thanks for being there" to show how versatile this stamp could be. How cute would it be on a layour about a "booboo"?"

Friday DT Showcase.

Hello hello CCM friends and happy Friday to you!!!

Ready for the weekend?  Up for some crafting time?

Here are a few super cute projects...

"I am in LOVE with the August release from Chi Chi Memories. Although I'm eager for Fall, I am just in love with Summer colors and this adorable new release goes perfectly with any season. I used a neutral card base with a simple design and soft colors to place the focus on the image. I printed the sentiment from the Friendship set onto cardstock."

"I have a fantastically fun stamp to share with you today!  Last week, Chi Chi Memories revealed their new stamp collection for August called "Friendship Set", and I showed you one of the cute stamps called "For You."  Today, I got to play with "I Got Your Back", and these two little gals are so cute!  I think this makes a great encouragement card, but would also be great as a thank-you card with a sentiment like "Thanks for being there!"  There really is a lot of you could do with it!"

"What a perfect card to send to your girlfriends who need a reminder that you are there for them.  You can purchase this image in the Friendship set, or as an individual stamp.  I colored them with Copic Markers and used miscellaneous scrap patterned papers to create the card face. I kept the embellishments to a minimum so it will be easy to mail.  I have to say, I love this stamp set!"

"I am loving the new Friendship set with all the adorable images and sentiments to match. I colored my girl using Copic markers. I then stitched around the patterned paper. The banners are all freehanded and last I made the rose and distressed it with green ink and applied stickles to the edges."

"I have something sweet for you... how about this adorable little girl from the new Friendship set?   She is so so cute!!!  I kept the card simple.  I used some washi paper tape to create some fun square pieces.  I colored her with Copic markers and added a flower and some butterflies brads."

Karen

"This week, I decided to start off the new releases by using the adorable "For You" stamp.  I love this little cuties becuase she can be used for so many different reasons - everything from thank-you card to birthday cards to thinking of you cards.  You get so much value out of stamps like this!  I coloured her up with Copics, and the decided to team her up with some paper from Doodlebug.  I love how bright and cheerful this card is!?"

Melissa

"Another fabulous NEW release from Chi Chi Memories. This set is so unique, I don't think I have ever seen images similar to these.   I decided to use this image first and even though she is crying I keep the colors happy and bright.  This is a perfect image to use for your girlfriend who needs a pick-me-up.  Who doesn't appreciate getting a card that makes them smile.  Image colored with Copic Markers."

Kim

"I love this new Friendship set. There are so many possibilities. On my card I colored in the image using Copics then added an organza ribbon tied into a bow and topped with a button. The brads are addd last to pull everything together."

Marcee

"I have been is such a Fall mood lately and really enjoyed creating a Fall inspired card with this adoarable image called Autumn Memory Boy. I did a lot of layering with cardstock and added quite a few more embellishments than I normally do. But I really loved the way it turned out. The image is colored with Prisma Colored Pencils, die cut and mounted with Spellbinders and adhered to a finished 6x6 card base."

Hope you like them and have a fabulous weekend!

DT Showcase.

Hello CCM friends and happy Friday to you!

We have some super fun cards for you today!

"My oldest daughter loves getting mail!  Some days we can fool her into believing that the flyers were sent just for her, but it's even more fun to see her face when there is a card addressed just for her.  So today, I decided to team up the adorable mailman Freddie from the Sympathy Collection with some fun DCWV paper, and create a little card just to tell her how much I love her!  I love the bright primary colours together with this darling image! "

"Are you enjoying the summer so far?  So many fun things to do...  Suntan, relax, play, sleep, swim, eat, and fun!  Which one will you pick?  Well, we all know what Candace from the Splash of Fun is enjoying, hehe!"

Melissa

"Lonely on the ranch?  I think this image is adorable and even if she is missing you in this card I guarantee next time you see her on my blog she will be happy.  I decided to go with what I consider non traditional cowgirl colors and then added in some rhinestones and little buttons.   She is available as an individual stamp, Autumn Memory Girl, or in a stamp set, Autumn Memory"

"I am using this adorable bear from the Beach Time set. There are so many fun things to do with this set. Perfect for those who also scrapbook.  I colored the bear and created some highlights by using a Copic blender marker, it's then fussy cut and adhered to the white cardstock using 3-D foam tape. The waves are added using a border punch and some dew drops to tie everything together."

"This week I chose to use Sunny Girl for my card. She is SO adorable and also comes in the set Sunny Day. I colored her with ProMarkers. I kept my card base neutral and then used some fun soft colored papers to go with her clothing and umbrella. I added a simple "celebrate" sticker which makes this card perfect for multiple occasions."

Well, what do you think?  Hope you like them!
