Tuesday DT showcase

Hello CCM friends, hope you are having a fantastic week!

We are back to show a few cards created by our awesome DTs.

"This week I used the freebie Hello Girl image to create a back to school card. I colored her with my alcohol markers using Karen's coloring tutorial from last Wednesday. There's still time to play along with the CCM August Challenge - so grab your free image and join in!"

"I decided to make the cute girl from the Summer Fun set really swing.  I colored my image using Prismacolor pencils and then fussy cut the image out.  I then added her to the front of the card that has this great square cut from the front so she swings in the card.  I added the piece of pattern paper behind her so she really pops.  Love seeing her really swing!!!"

"Well, I love love love summer and I'm not ready for September yet!  Hehe!  Here is another card using the Beach TIme set.  I'm off to get some last minute sun!  I colored the Beach Time image with Copic markers and I added on a super fun designed frame from Crate Paper.  I figured the card with a fun sentiment (also from the Beach Time set), and finished it up with a bow and a few blings"

"It’s never too early to start the spooky fun so here’s an older Chi Chi Memories stamp called,  Happy Halloween.  Get your spooky cards started today and check out the fun stamps form Chi Chi Memories today."

World Card Making Day!

Hello and Happy World Card Making Day! Thanks for stopping by today we got a couple of exciting cards by our Design Team Girls.

First up, we have Alice's card using the Happy Halloween Stamp Set. Isn't this set Owl-dorable? I just love this set! I guess because it has two of my favorite things, Halloween and Owls...LOL

I added some stickles to Chi Chi Memories image to make it pop and shimmer. My coloring technique has come a long way from when I first started on the DT team. What do you think?

Next up we have Kerry's card. Kerry also used the Happy Halloween stamp set. I just love how she multiple her owls...giggle. That's another awesome thing about digital stamps, you can set your images to whatever size you want, multiply them just like Kerry's card or print them on decorative paper and cut them out. How cool is that?

We also have another card from one of our BIGGEST Fans, Charmaine Chan! Charmaine also used the Happy Halloween stamp set. Too bad we can't show you how cool her card via video. The ghost on the cards are moveable and she hung them on strings, isn't that cool?

Hope you all are having a fun card making day and don't forget to use your Chi Chi Memories stamps and if you don't have any then come visit the store! There are lots of great stamps to choose from.

Have a great day!

Halloween with Lisa

Hello. I hope everyone is well. I am going to show you a card with oneof the ghost images from the Halloween set today. I tried to make it look a little spooky, but fun. Here it is:

Since the ghost is actually a puppet, I wanted to finds some patterned paper that looked like it was flowing and a little spooky. I also remembered that I had this satin ghost ribbon in my stash, so I added a bit of that too. I hope you like it!

Halloween Candles

Hello! Happy Wednesday! I am still having a fabulous time using these Halloween images! I decided to use the candles image this week, and make them look creepy by coloring them gray and black. I also decided to use sketch challenge CCM.SC#15. Love this sketch! It fits right into my clean and simple style.

Notice the designer paper, once again from a retired SU paper pack, and the two vertical strips are actually glitter card stock from The Paper Company. So, to tie into the glitter card stock, I decided to use my Doodlebug Designs fine black glitter on the melting tops of the creepy candles. No photo could capture just how cool all of the glitter on this card is! I tried, believe me! Then to add a bit more color, I decided the four corner embellishments on the sketch should be orange sticky gems which were also Doodlebug Designs. A girl can never have too much sparkle and bling. That is all from me for this week, see you next week with some super cute ghost puppet images.

Halloween Card

Hello to everyone, happy Wednesday! I just can't get enough of these Halloween stamps, they are so adorable! If you haven't gotten the whole set yet, then do it! Sorry, I got carried away! Anyways, I so love this little bear, he looks so cute sitting in this pumpkin.
I colored the image with my Stampin Up markers, then cut it out. Then cut out the largest di-cut from my Spellbinder's Labels Six di-cut set out of two different patterned papers. I mounted the image on one, and cut the other in half. The rest looks pretty self-explanatory.
Until next week......Blessings,

Hope you like him.

Oh, and the new releases today!!!!! Fabulous, awesome, adorable, cute and any other good word that you can think of! Love them!

Hugs, Lisa

First I want to say thank you to Natalie for understanding about my technical difficulties this week, and I am so relieved that the problem is solved. Next, I want to thank Sally for filling in for me today (Wednesday).

Now, here is my first creation with some CCM cuteness:

Don't all of you completely adore these new Halloween images? I am in love with them, and making things with them. Halloween is my favorite holiday to paper craft for. here is what I used on this little creation of mine:

Accessories ~ Prismacolor colored pencils, Martha Stewart Bat Punch, EK Success Bat border punch, Spellbinder's Circle Di-cut, EK Success Yellow Fiber, 1/4" hole punch, unknown tag template.

Hope you all like it, it will be posted on my personal blog this Sat. Sept. 11, which also happens to be my wedding anniversary of 17 years to my wonderful husband, Steve.
