DT Showcase

Hello hello CCM friends!!!
We are super excited about the new Costume set 2 release!
Here are some adorable projects, they are just too cute!

Alice

"I am truly delighted that we get to share this month’s NEW digital release.  You are going to love this set, I know I do!  This charming little guy is from the NEW Costume Set 2.  I wanted to try something different this week by creating a little door in front of the robot so you can add a sentiment on the inside. The pictures show the robot with a flap when it’s closed and when it’s open, a sentiment appears.  You’ll love the rest of the set as well so get yours today!"

Kerry

"Hope you are up for something totally cute!  Don't you just adorable the new Costume 2 set?  This little tiger girl is so so cute!!  I kept the card simple.  I colored her with Copic markers and cut her out and adhered foam dots for some dimension."

Lynda

"I have to say that I am a sucker for kids in costume.  I can't wait for my doorbell to ring so I can see what cute costumes are at my door on Halloween night.  These images in this new set are just fabulous!  I just think this little cutie is just adorable...and how could you not have a smile on your face with a sweet animal like this one giving you a "roar"?"

Tuesday DT Showcase

Hello CCM friends, hope you had a great start of the week.

We are super excited to show you more projects using the new CCM September stamp set.
Without further adieu...

Alice

"Alice here, sharing Chi Chi Memeories NEW digital stamp release called, “Party Time”.  Super cute set that can be used for any type of  celebration.  I love Jorgy’s adorable suit in this set.  Come join all the fun!"

Kerry

"I'm totally in love with the Time Party set, isn't Candace super adorable with her tea party outfit!  And not to mention the yummy cupcake?"

Katherine

"I love the images in this month's release Party Time, but this little group of animals is my favorite - hands down! The shading on the stamp makes it super easy to make these little guys pop off the page. I wanted to make something a little out of the box this week and thought it would be fun to add a few birthday candles. They sure make this gorgeous lime green ribbon really stand out!"

Lynda

"I knew right away when I saw this little sweetie in the Party Time set that I had to use her as the focus of a card.  I colored her using my Copic markers and then mounted her on this wonderful sheet music pattern paper.  I then created the sentiment banner with extra cardstock and added to the front of the card using foam tape.  I'm sure she'll make the perfect greeting for any reason!"

Aren't they super cute?  Thanks so much for stopping by and happy crafting!

Lynda

"I LOVE this grouping of animals announcing the party that they are having!  I colored them each with my Copic markers and then backed the image with coordinating pattern papers from My Minds Eye.  I used rubons for the letters on the banner.  I think this card will be great to use to invite some friends over for an end of summer backyard party!"

Katherine

"This week I used the cake image from the September stamp release Party Time. I needed a birthday card for one of my favorite little girls and this was the perfect image. I love how it looks colored with shades of purple, and I used a bit of Silver Smooch to add some glimmer. I wish the picture did it justice - it certainly does shine!"

Kerry

"I hope you are ready for a party!  I know for sure these party animals are!  Why not, join the fun!!!
For this card, I used the super fun surprise collection from Bo Bunny.  It's perfect for this birthday bash.  And I colored this adorable image with copic markers, I decorated the party hats with stickles, and a sentiment."

Alice

"We love celebrating with Chi Chi Memories stamps and with this month’s set you’ll sure enjoy creating with them.  This is from the NEW Party Time set all cut out and used on a tag and can be tied on to a gift…adorable! Get yours today!"

"This week I used the freebie Hello Girl image to create a back to school card. I colored her with my alcohol markers using Karen's coloring tutorial from last Wednesday. There's still time to play along with the CCM August Challenge - so grab your free image and join in!"

"I decided to make the cute girl from the Summer Fun set really swing.  I colored my image using Prismacolor pencils and then fussy cut the image out.  I then added her to the front of the card that has this great square cut from the front so she swings in the card.  I added the piece of pattern paper behind her so she really pops.  Love seeing her really swing!!!"

"Well, I love love love summer and I'm not ready for September yet!  Hehe!  Here is another card using the Beach TIme set.  I'm off to get some last minute sun!  I colored the Beach Time image with Copic markers and I added on a super fun designed frame from Crate Paper.  I figured the card with a fun sentiment (also from the Beach Time set), and finished it up with a bow and a few blings"

"For this week, I'm using this adorable Hello Girl.  It's a freebie!  Go grab yours today and join the CCM challenge this month for a chance to win more CCM goodies!  I colored Hello Girl with Copic markers and the pretty pattern paper is from Recollections 'the Neapolitan Collection."

"For my card this week I wanted to showcase one of the cute individual stamps from the Spring is Here stamp set.  This cute apple tree would be wonderful on a back to school card, so that's what I decided to create.  My image is colored with copics and fussy cut.  I then used Glossy Accents on the apples to make them shiny.  I layered the cardstock and pattern papers onto the card base and then added my image.  I added the sentiment on a piece of scrap cardstock and mounted it using some cute red snaps."

"This week I used an image from the Stamp Set Friendship, Chi Chi Memories August 2013 release, I Got Your Back. I used my basic Spectrum Noir pens in Browns, Purples, and Pale Hues for all my coloring. I layered papers from my Crate Paper Snow Day 6x6 pad for the background of my card and used a Framelit Label Die to cut out the bottom of my tag. I have the pretty, sparkly buttons in my stash and I paired them up with some silver cording I found in Target's dollar bin. I used some tutorials on the Spectrum Noir blog as a guide for my skin tones and hair this week."

Tuesday DT Showcase

Hello CCM friends and happy Tuesday to you.

Time for another DT Showcase featuring the new Friendship collection.

"I'm so happy to be getting ready to begin a new school year. I love the freshness of the fall season and this image reminds me of a little girl getting ready for her first day of school. I colored my image using alcohol markers in bright shades. My paper is from Jillibean Soup and Stampin Up! I am just in love with the Jillibean Soup's Apple Cheddar Soup patterns. I sprinkled a few little sparkles in the corner, don't you think these things are the cutest addition to a card?"

"This month’s release is super cute!  I loved coloring these adorable little girls and you will too.  Brighten up someone’s day with these charming digi girls!"

"For my card this week I decided to use this adorable image of these two girls that really showcases what a good friend does for another in need.  I colored the image using my Copic markers and then mounted the colored pieces onto coordinating cardstock.  It was then mounted onto the pattern paper I picked when I selected the image.  I can't wait to send this to a friend that has had a bad week...I'm sure she'll feel so much better when she gets this in the mail."

"For this week, I used these adorable girls from Wipe your tears.  I colored the girls with Copic markers. The pattern paper is from Basic Grey true love collection.  I added some red twine and a 'love' die cut from Memory Box."

"This week I used an adorable image from the newly released stamp set I've Got Your Back. I loved the image and wanted to try something a little out of the box for me by coloring the hair in some bright color choices. I used some of my favorite color combinations of Spectrum Noir Markers on these little darlings. They are printed on Bazzill card stock and then layered with SU Regal Rose and Mambo Melon. I also used a bit of paper from Recollections and My Mind's Eye. The flowers I came across again recently, and they are from my stash. Thanks for looking!"

"Adorable new Friendship set from Chi Chi Memories will sure win you over.  Great for any, “Pick me up day card”.  Loving the shading on these stamps which makes it easier to color. Join us today and get your NEW set!"

"I knew right away when I saw all these cute images that I had to make something with the cutie with the flower.  I am always sending thank you cards to people and the matching sentiments are perfect in the set.  I colored her with my Copics and then fussy cut the image out.  I then added some matching cardstock and pattern paper to the card front.  She is mounted onto the card using foam tape.  I can't wait to send her to a friend!"

Tuesday DT Showcase

Hello hello CCM friends!
We are super excited!!!
Not only we are sharing some super adorable projects with you...
and yes, yes!  We will be showing you a little peak on our August release!

"For my card I decided to go with a CAS (Clean and Simple) design.  I printed the flower image from the Spring is Here onto cardstock and colored it with Copics.  I then added the piece of Washi tape to the card front and then added my fussy cut image.  I then added the rubon sentiment."

"I love sending out to friends and family, Thinking of You cards or cards just to say hello.  We all get so much junk mail now a days, it’s nice to receive something other than a bill.  The Baby Flower Set is perfect for those “Thinking of You” cards."

"Chi Chi Memories images are perfect for fun summertime cards. Jordy is diving for fun this week, where I combined two of the images from the Splash of Fun Stamp Set and colored them with my Spectrum Noir Markers. I kept this card simple to allow the bright colors of the image to pop. I layered a piece of striped paper from Simple Stories underneath, it seems the colors in the paper are a perfect match to my image. I even colored the little banner with one of my markers - I love how these markers create such vibrant colors without eating up my paper! The twine is from Stampin' Up! and the button is from my stash."

"Here’s little Jordy dressed as an insect and is adorable.  Come check out the rest of Jordy and his friends in the Costume Set by Chi Chi Memories.  You’ll use them for any occasion and for Halloween.  Check it out today!"

Here is sneak peek #1.

And here is sneak peek #2.

DT Showcase

Hello and happy Tuesday!  Hope you are having a great week!

We have some super cute CCM creations for you today!

"You’ll love the digital sets from Chi Chi Memories especially when you can change the size of your images.  It’s super easy and helps when you are creating size and design.  Get your images today before the next stamp set is release in August.  Beach Time is the stamp for your July creations!"

"I knew when I printed this cute bear that I wanted to make sure that he really stood out on my card.  I printed the image twice onto cardstock.  I colored both images using my Copic markers.  I then created the background using chalks; keeping the colors soft and subtle.  I then cut out the top arm and ear from the second image mounting them onto the base image using liquid dimensional glue.  I then layered coordinating cardstock behind my image.  I just adore this bear and think he makes a perfect image for just about every kind of card!"

"For my card this week I used Jordy dressed as a clown from the Happy Carnival Stamp Set. I colored my main image with Spectrum Noir markers, and the tickets are stamped with Tangerine Tango ink. I used paper from Best Creation Inc. called Let's Party. and paper pieced the balloons in Jordy's hand from the back side of the paper. This would make a great birthday card, thank you card, or a get well soon card for a child, so I left the inside greeting free."

Check out this adorable card by our guest DT Steph, super cute!

Tuesday DT Showcase.

Hello CCM friends and happy Tuesday!
We hope you enjoyed all the beautiful creations from our guest DT yesterday.
And here are some more fun creations from our regular designers!

"Birthday Boy from the Chi Chi Memories Birthday Boy Bundle is perfect for those little boys in your life.  It’s so hard for me  to know what little boys are into year to year so this image is just perfect for a generic boy birthday. The entire set is just adorable."

"For my card this week I used the flower cart from Specially For You. I colored the image using Spectrum Noir markers from the Brights Set. I used the following color combinations: CR9, DR2, DR4 for the wagon, GT2, LG5, JG2 for the leaves and stems, and GB6, GB7, and a Blender Pen for the Sunflowers. The papers used on this card are Bazzill Kraft, Jillibean Soup's Christmas Eve Chowder, and Crate Paper Snow Day Collection. The button and flower are from my stash. Have a great week!"

"I decided for my project this week that I wanted Jordy to be showing off some bright summer colors.  I decided to use the colors from the Noteable collection by My Minds Eye as my inspiration..this wonderful rich blue on the pattern paper was the perfect color to coordinate with the fabulous sunshine pattern on his surfboard.  I think he looks like he's ready to hit some waves after stopping by to wish you "hello"...don't you?"

"Here’s another card made with the Beach Time digital set.  After all , it’s July and that means the beach! I popped my image out from under the polaroid die cut to give the appearance that the image is coming to life.  You’ll enjoy these charming images so get yours today!"

Hope you like them and please stop by tomorrow...

It's TUTORIAL DAY with Karen!!!

Tuesday DT Showcase.

Hello CCM friends and happy Tuesday to you!
We hope that you enjoyed our guest DT projects yesterday and we have some more goodies for you.

"Are you ready for some summer days at the beach? I have been having a "wicked blast" with these images from the Beach Time stamp set. This week I used the surfer boy from the set colored in fun shades of blue and green, with a bit of summer orange for my color scheme. I colored the image using Spectrum Noir Markers, and couldn't resist creating a little beach sign on the side with a free download I found at Simple Stories. It reminds me of the beach side signs on Cape Cod! The little brad in the corner is also from Simple Stories, and the papers are from Jillibean Soup and Stampin' Up!"

"For my project this week I decided to create a canvas.  This canvas is 5x7.  I first merged images from the Beach Time set and the sun from Spring Is Here.  I then printed the images onto heavy cardstock.  I then mod podged the image onto the canvas and let it dry.  I then used Gelatos and Faber Castell watercolor pencils to color in my scene.  I then put a think layer of Mod Podge over the top to seal the image.  I then used a black Permaball marker to go over the lines of the stamped images to make them stand out...adding some little doodles and dashes here and there...  I can't wait to give this canvas as a gift!!"

"I’m just loving this NEW release from Chi Chi Memories Beach Time this month.  These adorable little images are just so darn cute to work with and perfect for this time of year.  The images are super easy to color or paper piece too!"

I used elements from the Spring is here set to create my 1st stair step card.  I love trying new things and I knew these cute little elements would help me build a scene for the card design.

Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!
xoxo

DT Showcase.

Hello hello CCM friends, we hope that you like the new Beach Time stamp set.  And enjoyed the beautiful guest DT projects, if you missed them, click HERE!

We are sharing more fun projects today.

"There’s nothing more fun in the summer, but to lay out in the sun and just relax.  Chi Chi Memories NEW Beach Time stamp set is just that, pure bliss!  I loved that the set had some highlights already drawn in so you knew where to make your highlights…genius!"

"Teddy is ready for some fun and so am I.  Beach Teddy is from the new July release and is just adorable for those fun summer cards."

"I knew right away when I saw the adorable images in the new Beach Time set that I wanted to create a super fun scene.  I merged the image of the girl and the sandcastle together.  I then colored my images with Copics and chalk.  To add some interest to my card I added real sand to the base of the card where the sandy beach is.  I then mounted the colored image onto coordinating cardstock and then the card base.  The sentiment rubon was added last.  I just think this makes a sweet warm summer greeting."

"I love all the images from the new stamp set Beach Time, but really, who wouldn't want to  celebrate the Fourth of July with a trip to the beach? These cuties might be watching the tide roll in, or waiting for the fireworks to start. I colored them in using my Spectrum Noir Markers. I love how easy it is to blend and shade my images with these. My card is made with a base of white card stock and layered some papers from My Mind's Eye and Creative Imaginations. The banners were cut from a free download that was shared with my scrap booking group. They fit the theme of my card perfectly and the colors worked together so well. Happy 4th of July!
Have a wonderful week!"
