New Year's Eve Inspiration!

I decided it was time for celebrating, so I used the Party Time set and chose this cute image of Candace with the yummy cupcake. I colored her with Copics and found this really cute paper from Creative Imaginations and it has sentiments included on it. I added ribbon and made a bow with my Bow Easy and then added a bling flourish to round out my creation. Hope you like it:)

This cute birdie from the Meaning of Love set is perfect to send thank you greetings; like this one to a friend. He's colored with my Copics and then mounted onto cardstock that was sewn onto the card base.

One last card for the month using the super cute Joyful Season set! These little critters are having so much fun building a snowman it makes me want to find some snow to build one too! Well almost!

Have a safe New Year's Eve!

Friday's Design Team Inspiration!

Hello everyone!  Wrapping up the week of Christmas we have some design team eye candy for you. Get ready because in January there will be a new release and you are going to LOVE it!  HINT:  It shows some January fun at it's best!

So excited to welcoming the new year.. I made this wall hanging with 2014 calendar using one of the image from Spring is Here Digital Stamps set. Isn't she so cute looking from the window?

Who doesn't want to be king for a day, especially on their birthday? I think this is such a cute stamp and decided it would be perfect for a birthday card. I colored the image with Copic markers and then discovered I had some paper in my stash with animal heads. Unfortunately the company name was missing so I can't share that, but it is perfect with this Chi Chi Memories image!

I am having a Christmas hangover…….wanted to make another Christmas themed card I am not ready to say good bye to Christmas yet so this is my attempt to hold on to it for one more day. The beautiful image is from the Christmas set filled with great images. I inked the girl with copic markers and made it the focal point of the card. Hope you like it.

Ho Ho Ho!

The big day is only a day away.  Sit down, take a break from your crazy schedule and enjoy some Chi Chi Memories December fun.

Merry Christmas Eve! I just had to use this darling boy from the Joyful Season set, I'd say he was on Santa's nice list and made it out pretty well! Wishing you and yours a splendid Christmas holiday!

This cute guy from the Winter Fun set looks like he's ready to hit the slopes in style. Sticking with an unconventional color combo; I pulled out my new Copic florescent markers and then matched the colors with my cardstock. I think you would have a hard time missing this guy in the snow!

I decided to use the December Freebie for my creation this week. Remember, you can pick her up on our Challenge blog and use her in the challenge for the chance to win Chi Chi Memories images! I have colored this cutie with my Copics and used Tonic die to cut her out. I added Stickles for the trim and poms on her sweet little outfit. I used some rumple ribbon to make a bow and then rounded out my creation adding some pearls. Hope you like it!

On behalf of us all at Chi Chi Memories
we wish you all a very safe and Merry Christmas!

Friday's Eye Candy!

Happy Friday!  Can you even believe that there is 5 days remaining until the 25th?  Wow, this month has flown by!  Right now, our Friday design team wants to take a few minutes and WOW you with some eye candy!

Karen
Although the December winter themed releases at ChiChi Memories are darling, there are others in the store that are perfect for this time of the year too! X'MAS BOY is one of my favourites - there is so much fun detail in this digi, and you can create a really traditional looking card with a splash of cuteness that is sure to make anyone smile!

I made this tag featuring the latest release A Joyful Season. I think she is doing the happy dance because she is celebrating a winter birthday! She is colored with Copic markers and the snowflake was sponged with Memento ink.

What a fun image this is, prefect for christmas cards and best part its free. This image is great for creating cards to cover everybody on your list. I made this card in 30 minutes. printed the image on white cardstock inked the bunny and glued some patterned paper to achieve this simple look.

I made this card using Jordy Santa Claus. He can found in store as either Digi Stamp Singles - X' Mas Boy or Digi Stamps Set -Merry X' Mas. I made the poinsettia from felt. Snow Marker is a great touch for this season, so prepare your heat gun

Have a wonderful weekend and happy crafting!

Tuesday's Design Team!

The Tuesday team of designers has some more winter projects to share with you today.  Enjoy the eye candy and stay warm!

I thought these trees in the Winter Fun set deserved to be colored in a non-traditional way. I went with a nice bright green and pink combination. I think this will be such a fun greeting to send this holiday season!

I am still in Christmas mode, so I have chosen an image from the Merry Xmas set. I love this cute candy cane with the gorgeous bow. I had fun coloring this with my Copics and adding Stickles for the snowy areas. I stuck with traditional Christmas colors again this week. Hope you like it!!

Hoping you all are bundling up and staying warm like this cute penguin all wrapped up in his cozy scarf! He's a an oldie from the Winter Fun set but still at cutie and spreading some holiday JOY your way!

Friday the 13TH!

We don't have anything scary, we have just cuteness!  Check out what Friday's design team did for inspiration this week!

Young or old, snow angels are fun (although getting back up isn't quite as easy when you get older). This cute bear from the December release is perfect for Christmas or holiday greeting! Colour him up in red and green for a more traditional look, or try something a bit different with yellows and blues!

Another card using December New Release, Joyful Season.. My favorite color for December is always traditional Christmas color. I use white Gesso to make snow effect. Corrugated Paper and Frantage are great additional touch..

OMG isn’t this girl so adorable, I almost feel like giving her a kiss. The versatility of images in the set make for a perfect December release. Base of the card is 5 ½ inch square with 2 layers and the inked “miss adorable”. Finished the card with some bling and voila. Hope this card inspires you to create.

This image reminded of my two younger boys, always out in the snow creating things. This image is from the new release A Joyful Season. I colored with Copic markers and did use some Stickles to add just snow sparkle. Want to buy a snowball?

This card sends a little holiday tune for you. Alright, it doesn't have a special chip with music, but when you see the card you can't help but hum a little of the Christmas song Deck the Halls!

Happy Crafting!

Tuesday's DT Showcase!

Happy Tuesday!  Again it's time for some creative fun from Tuesday's Design Team featuring our new release A Joyful Season.

"The best way to spread Christmas Cheer, is singing loud for all to hear!" This sweet girl is ready to spread some holiday cheer all winter long!

Just in time for holiday cards this wonderful Joyful Season stamp set has the perfect images to create fun greetings. I used the cute bear making snow angels; coloring him with Copics. I think you'll agree that this is the bear-y-est snow angel you have ever seen!!!

I absolutely love this image with the big stack pf presents. Had such fun coloring with Copics and Atyou Spica glitter pens. I decided to use a more tradional colors of Christmas theme and found this sentiment from My Craft Spot that I think just fits perfectly with this image. I added a little bling-y present sticker to round out my creation. Hugs:)

Winter Wonderland!!

Friday's team is featuring the NEW December release,  A Joyful Season.
Looking for holiday stamps? Chi Chi Memories has MANY choices!

Dewi
I made this card using December New Release called Joyful Season.. I color her with Copic Marker and Faber Castell Classic Color Pencil. I always add this and that at my card.. My favorite embellishment at this card was the clay font. I add the blue shade on the clay font using Ranger Distress Ink Broken China

It doesn't matter who is making them, snow angels are bound to make you smile. This new image is so darn cute, I love this little bear. I knew I wanted to make my card in really bright colors so I used a lot of pinks and orange. I added some chipboard snowflakes and popped up one side of the teddy by cutting it so the side would lift up, and left the other side alone. Berry cute!!

Karen
Winter can be a magical time, and this new stamp from ChiChi Memories is the perfect way to commemorate that part of the season! This little gals bright, cheerful expression is sure to bring a smile to anyone - whether she brings greetings for the holidays or simply helps you say "hello" this time of year.
What a beautiful winter set this is and was the inspiration for the project. I volunteered to make gift card holders for the teachers at my daughter's school. I wanted to make something a little more than a gift card holder. I made this box out a 11 X 8.5 inch paper. Printed the cute boy, inked him and fussy cut the image out. The rest of it was decorating the top of the box. Tied a ribbon to the gift card and hid it behind the sentiment. To make things even better filled the inside of the box with some CHOCOLATEEEEEES

Take time to create this weekend!

December's NEW Release!

Ready for some Creative Inspiration?  The beginning of a new month means a new release and this release is full of winter wonderland images!

Enjoy what Tuesday's Team created for you!

Lysa
Love this cute little bear! What makes you think of winter fun more than snow angels- or in this case snow bears!  Perfect to send some snowy wishes or for an adorable embellishment for a scrapbook layout!

My creation features this cute bear all bundled up for the cold weather season. I combined the image with one of the sentiments from the set and chose some darker colors and a winter/snowflake theme. My design paper is from Heartfelt Creations and cardstock is from Bazzill. I used Copics to color this adorable image and then cut out with XCut dies

When I saw this cutie in the new Joyful Season set I knew right away that I wanted to create something with her. I decided to create a Think Snow card based on the colder more winter weather that is headed for our area this week. She's colored with Copics. The card base was covered with this fun sticker that I stacked on top of itself and then used the small cutouts to create a polka-dot background. The card is finished with some letter stickers that spell out my sentiment.

Come back on Friday to see what Friday's team created featuring the new release!

Hi Everyone, Happy Sunday! Is everyone feeling the Holiday spirit yet? It sure feels cold around here! If you aren't feeling the Holiday Season drifting around yet, I'm sure this month's new release, Joyful Season will get it starting!
The cute stamps are available as a set or singles=)

"Happy Sunday Everyone!I made a little treat holder following a tutorial on Splitcoaststampers and placed this cute little guy on the front.  He is so festive with all the gifts he is carrying.  Some Christmas candy or even a little gift card would fit nicely in there.  The tag is all set to go also so it can be attached when it's decided who to give this to."
