Friday Features!

The Friday team this week has some fun cards to share with you all.  I'm into all the bright and cheerful colors!  Take time for yourself this weekend and create!

Melissa
Using Image:  Beach Time Girl

I am feeling the need for some beach time, especially since it's spring break here. Unfortunately no actual beach for me, except my card. I used some older paper from Cosmo Cricket which I thought was just perfect for my little swimmer.

Karen

Okay, all I can say about this little digi is "cute, cute, CUTE"!!!! I had a blast using a combination of Copic YR31, E23, E25 and E17 for her hair, and coloring the rest of her to coordinate with the paper! This is a great digi for beginners and experts alike, and the perfect "go to" image when you need a quick coloring fix (or a quick card - not that I ever leave them to the last minute ;)). Whatever the case, get this one - if nothing else, she's make you smile!

Vishu
Using Image:  Hello Girl 2

Isn't she adorable and to top it she is free....absolutely adore this image it makes you want to color her. This card is a little different from my usual style but I love the way it turned out and the color combination. Hand ripped the orange cardstock, embossed it and stuck my girl. Hope you are able to notice the two pearls earrings she is wearing . Grab her and enter CCM monthly challenge.

Audrey
Usingl Image: Handsome Boy

Today I am sharing a new creation using last month's Freebie. I don't make near enough boy cards and this image is so sweet, I just had to use him for a card:) Hope you like it!!

Lynda
Image from the set: Spring is Here

I thought it was only fitting to celebrate the arrival of spring with a simple tribute card. My daughter created the background using her marker spray machine...the rest is colored with Copics.

Melissa
Using Image:  Fighter Boy

Fighter boy is such a cute DIGI. This paper from Echo Park seems like it was made for this image. I stuck with basic boys colors when coloring with Copic Markers and added a little pow banner. Perfect card for a little guys birthday!

Vishu
Using Image: Fighter Girl

Loveeee this image very uplifting to boost your confidence. I created my own background using Ann Butler faux quilt stamps. Printed my image inked her and embellished her with some awesome accessories.

Tuesday's Design Team!

Just a couple of inspirational cards for you.
Today is a perfect day for crafting, don't you agree?
Remember to grab your Chi Chi Memories freebie and join the challenge!

Lysa
Using Image:  Fighter Boy

I thought this cute fighter boy would make a great "get better" card, he would even be great on a simple hello or way to go cards for anybody- this cute face definitely make you smile!

Lynda
Using Image: Hello Girl
This week I thought I would use the "Hello girl" image to create a St. Patricks' day inspired friendship card. I colored her with my Copics and then fussy cut the image out. I added to the front of my card base and then added letter stickers to create my sentiment. I then doodled the border on the card to complete it.

Audrey
Using Image:  Enjoy your Time

I love this cute image "Enjoy Tour Time" and think it makes a perfect birthday card, although versatile enough to be used for anything. I found this great sentiment in my clear stamps that I think fits so well. Image was a joy to color with my Copics and then cut out. I found this wonderful cupcake paper from Bella Blvd. which was begging me to use it with this image. Hope you like it!!

It's FRIDAY!!

Let's hear it for Friday, and also for the Friday Design Team!
We have some great cards to share with you today!

Such a cute boy image and perfect way to welcome warmer weather. My card base is 5x7. Die cut with some border dies and inked the image with my copics. To finish the card I embellished it with lace and ribbon.

Karen
Imaged used:  Fighter Girl

Every once in a while, I need a card that is more than a "thinking about you" card - one that shows that I believe in someone and that I can see the strength they are showing in their journey. The new Fighter Girl digi this month is perfect for this kind of project. And whiole she looks great here on this simple card, I could also see her paired up with a little treat bag! After all, the only thing better than a hand-made card or note is one that comes with chocolate!

Imaged used:  Fighter Girl

I think this card doesn't need too much of an explanation. Fight like a GIRL! This image is perfect for breast cancer cards, scrapbook layouts...and a whole lot more.

Tuesday Inspiration!

Happy Tuesday all!
Today we have more inspiration featuring March's new Release.

Using Image:  Let's be Friends Boy

Let's Be Friends (boy) is another sweet image that is so versatile and can be used for any occasion! I'm already thinking of other ideas to use him on... I think a scrapbook layout is in the works now!

Using Image:  Let's be Friends Girl

When I saw this Lets Be Friends image I knew that it needed to be colored with wonderful Spring colors as we are all longing for sun and warmer weather. I colored her with my Copic markers and then mounted it behind this wonderful fabric frame.

Using Image:  Fighter Girl

I just found out on Sunday that a friend of mine was diagnosed with Breast Cancer this past week. I made this card for her and think the New Release "Fighter Girl" is just perfect for this situation. I love the sentiment too that is a clear stamp and I hope my friend will like the card and it will bring her hope and strength.

First Friday in March!

Are we getting closer to spring?  I sure hope so.  This week we have a couple of spring like cards to share with you created by Friday's team, plus the adorable Fighter Boy.  All three of these cards are made with some of the new March release DIGIs!

Have you grabbed the March release yet they are these cutest images. Let's be friend image makes me feel hopeful that spring is around the corner. I colored my image with copics and placed it on a 6.5 x 4.5 card base.

Image used:  Fighter Boy

In my household, "girlie" projects are my usual, so when I come across a great masculine themed digi, I know I will use it over and over again. This month's Fighter Boy release is one such image! This is perfect for an encouragement card, but would also be great as a congratulations card, a birthday card, or even a graduation card - after all, this little guy looks ready to take on the world!

Image used:  Let's be friends boy

I really like to work with 'boy' images and this little guy sitting in the grass just screams 'all boy'. This is a great image to use when creating boy cards. It will work with birthday, thinking of you, encouragement, get well soon...you name it. You could even cut just the boy out and place him on something else, sitting on a chair, tree stump, or bed. So many uses, so little time!

Featuring March Releases!

Tuesday's Design Team is sharing their newest creations using just a few of the brand new March release DIGIs.  These are simply too cute for words - meaning the new DIGI's and the DT's cards!

I instantly fell in love with this Let's Be Friends image- she reminds me so much of my little niece! I dug out my grassy border punch to give her a comfy tuft of grass to snail watch!

I have also chosen Let's Be Friends this week. I just love the sweet innocence of this image and of course the snail is so sweet. I found this great sentiment that I think works perfectly with the image. Hope you like it!!

I knew right away when I saw the new release this month I wanted to create a cute card for a little friend's birthday using the fighter girl. I colored her with my Copics and then fussy cut the image out. I used a fineline marker to doodle around the edges of the card base and then added the little letters for my sentiment. I am sure she's going to love the card!
