DT Showcase Friday 8.29.14

Friday is finally here!!!  Time for some of our designers to share with you their amazing creations!  You can find these images and others in the Chi Chi Memories store here.

Rachel has created this adorable project using  Cute In Glasses:

I used cute in glasses for this deliciously pink 8" card, with a mix of digi papers by Lilian Ellaboudy and papers and pink cardstock from my craft cupboard. I used a joanna sheen signature die for the bunting and a MFT flower die for the cute flowers framing the image.. the waste from the bunting die became the embellies at the corners of the card... and I also used my favourite Bo Bunny sentiment

Patricia created this using Book Worm:

for my card I used the Book Worm girl, colored her with copics.... love her glasses and I think she is perfect for this Back to School time....All paper used are from the Rie Kit and some satin ribbon to accent the top of the card... what do you think?

DT Showcase Tuesday 8.26.14

It's Tuesday and that means time for another designer showcase.  This week I think you'll agree the designers have come up with some wonderful projects for you!!!

Lysa used the HipHop girl image to create this wonderful card:

This spunky Hip Hop girl is just the cutest and so fun to color- I love all that hair! I matched her with some patterned paper scrap for a sweet "You're Pretty Cool" card!

***********************************************
Nikki created this awesome card featuring the ever fabulous Funky Girl image:

What a little rock star or I guess Funky Girl in this case. This little cool chic is rocking the star shaped shades (which I added Glossy Accents too). Copic markers and some lovely papers from my stash tied it all in together.

********************************************

I (Lynda) created this card showcasing the May Girl image:

I just adore this image for all types of cards. I created the background using distress stains dripped onto a craft sheet and then the watercolor paper pressed into the stain until the pattern I wanted showed up. She's colored with Spectrum Noir colored pencils with a touch of Copics.

It's time to share some great projects with you just in time for the weekend!!!  You can find these images and others in the Chi Chi Memories store here.

Rachel has created this adorable project using the bear from the Beach Time set:

I had a play about this week using the bear 'beach time 5' - I made a hybrid project, digitally placing the digital image onto a background which is a photograph I took on holiday in Wales last week , I then used die cut photo corners, some of my anitas crab shack papers, a digital chequered paper and cardstock to finish making the card!

Patricia created this using Let's Travel:

Save Trip card! I will use this card to send to my BFF who's traveling around the world soon!!! all papers are leftover from my stash, used my copics to colored her, I add some white and orange layers to give her some depth, add the colorful stripes to the side and use a paper clips to make the swirl and add the white satin ribbon for the bow

Tuesday means time for some new projects from our amazing designers!!  Lets see what the team has created for you this week:

Lysa used the Bookworm image to create this wonderful card:

Since the school year has started, I thought I'd get a head start on some Thank You cards for my sister to give to my nieces teachers! We definitely can't thank them enough for all they do! This Little Bookworm girl is so sweet and perfect for teacher cards!
***********************************************
Nikki created this awesome card featuring the totally adorable Casual Day image:

I just love this little stamp "Casual Day". She was a dream to colour. Of course I used my Copic markers to ink her up. The sentiment is from Verve stamps and one of my favourites because it is the perfect size. I added the white faux stitching around the card with a Signo Uniball white gel pen.

********************************************

I (Lynda) created this card showcasing the Hello Princess image:

This month's freebie image just screamed tea party to me...so I decided to dress her fancy for a party. She's colored with my copics. I think this would be a fun party to go to!!

For my card this week, I used the super cute Hip Hop girl.
