*************************************************************
Patricia created this using Funky Girl

I used Funky Girl colored her with my copics all papers use are left over from my stash, add decided to use the sentiment A Warm Hello to send this card to a friends that I need to send her a package over this weekend and it she does look like her. Used some clear glitter to accent the glasses... did you see the coloring on the hair, Im trying to learn how to color hair with copics and this was my first practice. Used some ivory twine to finished it off.

I layered the image onto a card base that was covered with paper from the same line; allowing for this easy matching of patterns within the same color family.

DT Friday 6.20.14 Showcase

Here comes the weekend!!!!  And that means it's time for our Friday Design Team Showcase featuring amazing projects from our talented designers.

Rachel has created this fantastic project featuring the new Casual Day girl:

I decided to go with something other than a card this time- instead i made an altered file divider for my DT A4 ringbinder organiser using 'Casual Day' I think she looks super cute and it makes my folder look a lot less boring!

***************************************
Patricia created this using Casual Day:

I decided to make a You are in my Thoughts card, is made specially for a friend one I which to make her smile when she get this card, I know she will she love green and pink and the girl is just her. I use papers from the clutter on my desk, white grinham ribbon for the top bow and tiny blue button, and accent the top margin the blue flag the sentiment is from a wooden stamp on my desk... I just love the bright pink and green of her outfit.

**********************************************
Jessie created this wonderful card using Princess Snowy:

For my card this week, I decided to use the adorable Princess Snowy image. I am a huge Disney fan, and I just love how she reminds me of Snow White! She was colored on X-Press It blending card with Copics, and then paired with some MFT cardstock, and My Mind's Eye paper. I decided to play along with this week's Mojo Monday sketch, as well. I love how versatile this image is, and how it can be paired with any kind of sentiment.

Tuesday DT showcase

Welcome to another Tuesday Design Team Showcase on the Chi Chi Memories blog.  This week our designers are sharing some completely cute projects with you again!!!

Nikki created this wonderful project using this sweetie from the Spring is Here set:

This little cutie could make anyone smile..... a really clean and simple card that allows the image to be the centre of attention, as it should be.

********************************************************************
Lysa created this wonderful card featuring this image from the cutie from Beach Time:

Sending sunshiney summer vibes in anticipation to some beach time this summer! Couldn't help but to color this cutie from the Beach Time set (also available as a single image) with his surfboard ready to hit the waves!

**********************************************************

Mila created this lovely image using the Secret Admirer image and pattern papers from Lilian Ellaboudy:

In this Card I used soft tones of colors! I love work with Digital Paper and I used two in my project. I coloured this Stamp with Copics. The Secret Admirer is so cute - and I used the key for your heart! I used Digital Paper Lilian Ellaboudy Modern Wedding and Cottage Chic.

*********************************************************

I (Lynda) used the Rainy Days image for my project:

This week our weather pattern seems to have slipped back into the Spring Showers mode, so I decided I would just go with it. I printed the Rainy Days image onto watercolor paper and colored it using my Spectrum Noir colored pencils. I decided on my sentiment and printed it directly onto a scrap piece of blue cardstock. I then use a cute raincloud die to make these fun accents for my card. I'm hoping this cute greeting will chase away the clouds and drippy skies!

Rachel is showcasing the Good Day image on this card:

I love this Digis...... I made a lovely card for my Nephew that loves pink and balloons and this was perfect for this project. I used my Prismacolor to color her, all papers are from the clutter on my desk and I love to use ribbon and button to embellish my project and this magenta bow and the green button with the twisted color twine were just perfect for it. I love all the bright color on this card.... It makes me smile!!!

*****************************************

Jessie created this fabulous project featuring the Girl's talk image:

For my card today, I used the super cute Girl's Talk image!! This digi takes me back to the 80's/90's when we still had a rotary phone, and I had a side pony tail for sure!! I used a fun, muted color combo, with some bright embellishments, and added some diecuts to the back to resemble the telephone cord

First up we have a project by Nikki using Princess Snowy:

Who doesn't love princesses? My card is showcasing the new release, Snowy Princess! This little beauty was inked up using Copic Markers. The image was fussy cut and added to a lovely 5.5x5.5" square card! I loved mixing different patterned papers to match the image itself!

Mirror Mirror on the wall, who's the fairest one of all? Princess Snowy!

*******************************************

Lynda created this card also using Princess Snowy:

For my card I am using the cute new Princess Snowy image for my card. I colored her with my Spectrum Noir colored pencils and then fussy cut the image out. I then added her to my card that I color blocked with this wonderful pattern paper. I then added the rubon sentiment to the top right corner along with another rubon along both sides. The card is finished off with these wonderful paper flowers in the bottom corner.

*****************************************

Mila also used the Princess Snowy to create this wonderful project:

I love to do this! Is a Card Box with Snowy.  I like this card because I can make a little scene! The card flips open a beautiful box as if pop-up and you can close it to save an envelope which he still continues beautiful, forming another vision of the post!.  To paint the Snowy I used Copic Markers
