First Friday in March!

Are we getting closer to spring?  I sure hope so.  This week we have a couple of spring like cards to share with you created by Friday's team, plus the adorable Fighter Boy.  All three of these cards are made with some of the new March release DIGIs!

Have you grabbed the March release yet they are these cutest images. Let's be friend image makes me feel hopeful that spring is around the corner. I colored my image with copics and placed it on a 6.5 x 4.5 card base.

In my household, "girlie" projects are my usual, so when I come across a great masculine themed digi, I know I will use it over and over again. This month's Fighter Boy release is one such image! This is perfect for an encouragement card, but would also be great as a congratulations card, a birthday card, or even a graduation card - after all, this little guy looks ready to take on the world!

I really like to work with 'boy' images and this little guy sitting in the grass just screams 'all boy'. This is a great image to use when creating boy cards. It will work with birthday, thinking of you, encouragement, get well soon...you name it. You could even cut just the boy out and place him on something else, sitting on a chair, tree stump, or bed. So many uses, so little time!

Featuring March Releases!

Tuesday's Design Team is sharing their newest creations using just a few of the brand new March release DIGIs.  These are simply too cute for words - meaning the new DIGI's and the DT's cards!

I instantly fell in love with this Let's Be Friends image- she reminds me so much of my little niece! I dug out my grassy border punch to give her a comfy tuft of grass to snail watch!

I have also chosen Let's Be Friends this week. I just love the sweet innocence of this image and of course the snail is so sweet. I found this great sentiment that I think works perfectly with the image. Hope you like it!!

I knew right away when I saw the new release this month I wanted to create a cute card for a little friend's birthday using the fighter girl. I colored her with my Copics and then fussy cut the image out. I used a fineline marker to doodle around the edges of the card base and then added the little letters for my sentiment. I am sure she's going to love the card!

Let's start the WEEKEND!

How about spending a little weekend time doing some much needed crafting?  It always makes me feel better.

This Friday the design team has some FAB-U-LOUS cards to share with you.  As always I hope you are as inspired as I am to get your craft on!

This darling new digi was a blast to colour. With her big playful bow, and the pointer in her hand that can be used to draw attention to a sentiment or even a fun embellishment, this digi can be used for any kind of card! I coloured her up with Copics, and paired her with some paper from Doodlebug. I can't wait to give this one away! I know she'll make any recipient smile!

I really like when little kid DIGIs are dressed in cute costumes like this. With my pink obsession she had to be pink, but the rest of the Easter type colors really come through with the fun bunny paper from Echo Park. I also added the little egg toad stool as a fun embellishment with the flowers. Such a great Easter set, it will help you make adorable place cards for your Easter dinner table!

This month's release has been my favorite every image is a cutie and versatile. For my card I used the image secret admirer inked her up and made this invitation for a surprise party.

Happy Tuesday!

It's Tuesday, and you know what that means....it's time for our Tuesday team inspiration!  The ladies did a FAB job.  Why not drop by their blogs and leave a little love!

For my creation this week, I chose the adorable "Hello Girl" image and decided she would be perfect for a birthday card. I colored her with my Copics. I found some Nestie flower dies that have been sitting in my collection of dies forever and finally got them out to play with. I love how they turned out and think they really round out the card nicely, hope you thin so too:)

I'm on a rainbow kick so I colored the 'Sending You My Love' balloons in a rainbow assortment to change it up from the pinks and reds from Valentine's day to make a cute 'bon voyage' card!

This image titled Enjoy your Time from the latest release makes me smile. She's a girl after my own heart with her love of cupcakes! I pulled out my Copics and colored the image. I wanted to keep the card simple, so I added her to the front and then added a few strips of pattern paper and a couple rubons to complete the project.

Happy Crafting!!

Cupcakes do not last long in my house. We always have so much making and decorating them, and even more fun enjoying them! So there is no doubt that this new little cutie will get lots of use in my house. In fact, wouldn't she make a cute cupcake topper?

Melissa
I really need to send more thinking of you cards out and this image is perfect for it. Honestly, all the February new release Digis are perfect 'just because' cards and birthday cards, and teacher cards.....

I absolutely love all the images released this month especially this one as my daughter loves cupcakes. For my card I layered the base with cardstock and dies, inked this cutie with copic markers and framed it using the spellbinders marvelous squares.

Tuesday's Team!

Time for Tuesday's team to inspire you to get crafty!  The ladies did a super job, as usual.  Don't forget we have a Fab new freebie to go with a new challenge too!

Well, I have moved away from love/Valentine's this week and have gone back to an image from the Winter Sports set as I have become obsessed with the Olympics. I wish USA was doing a bit better, but they are still such fun to watch, all the athletes are so amazing. I have colored this sweet snowborder with my Copics and used USA colors on her. I found this sentiment in my clear stamps and I think it makes a perfect card for any athlete. Hope you like it:)

This sweet Mage is so cute and perfect for cards sending happy wishes for any occasion!

I just think this release is the cutest. Each of the images lends itself to being colored in so many different ways. I decided I wanted to color her dress blue and layer her onto this cute polkadot paper. She certainly would be a sweet Secret Admirer!
